Hamilton Relay Receives Prestigious Award During TDI-ALDA Joint Conference

Hamilton Relay is honored to receive the James C. Marsters Promotion Award
, presented by Telecommunications for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, Inc. (TDI). This award was presented during the TDI-ALDA (Association of Late Deafened Adults) Joint Conference on October 17th at the Hotel Albuquerque at Old Town in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Vice President of Hamilton Relay, Dixie Ziegler, was present to accept the award.
TDI is a national advocacy organization that focuses its energy and resources to addressing equal access issues in telecommunications and media for individuals who are deaf, hard of hearing, late-deafened or deaf-blind. TDI awards are presented biennially to formally recognize individuals and organizations across the country that have played a role in advancing equal access to telecommunications, media and information technology for Americans who are deaf, hard of hearing, late-deafened or deaf-blind.

"Being recognized for this award is an honor that we will uphold as we move forward in our continuous efforts in providing telecommunications accessibility to individuals throughout the United States."
Hamilton Relay was recognized for its hometown approach to their state relay outreach, along with their Community Leader Awards and Scholarships Programs.
